Robert F. Walker, CIPP/US, is a partner in the Jackson office of Lewis Brisbois and a chair of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. He dedicates his practice to helping clients respond to security incidents, comply with numerous data privacy and security requirements, and assert and defend against claims in state and federal litigation. Robert counsels companies, including management teams and boards of directors, in response to security incidents and data breach investigations involving malware, network intrusion, inadvertent disclosure and ransomware. With decades of experience as a litigator and an appreciation for the priorities of companies and business owners, Robert brings a unique perspective to data privacy and compliance issues.
Robert is consulted and retained as immediate data breach counsel for clients who experience cybersecurity incidents. He leads a team of attorneys who provide 24/7 breach response services for companies in the United States and advises and guides clients through the critical first steps of responding to breaches that may pose risks of operational disruption, sensitive data release and/or reputational consequences. He guides his clients through the entire incident response process, directing forensic investigations, consulting with federal and state agencies, developing post-incident response notification plans and responding to regulatory investigations. Eric SeungJay Kim joined KB Insurance in 2015 and have been the casualty and specialty claims team for the past three years. Initially, he was recruited to handle their overseas claims and litigations - namely products liability claims. Shortly after, he was involved in also handling domestic claims in lines such as general liability, D&O, E&O, recall, employer’s liability, etc.
Prior to joining KB Insurance, Eric worked at POSCO Engineering doing contracts review and handling their overseas construction claims.
Eric graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelors in philosophy and political science. He also received his juris doctor from Penn State University, Dickinson School of Law. Although he passed the Pennsylvania bar exam in 2010, he is currently a non-practicing attorney.
